Amidst the ongoing sadness and scandal related to past child abuse situations, the USCCB has released a helpful document called "Ten Points for Protecting Children" stating clearly that:
- Sexual molestation is about the victim
- Child sexual abuse can be prevented
- Warning signs of abuse can be spotted
The document can be read online here in full and should be shared by every parish and church related organization. Additionally, we families need to continue to educate, supervise and protect our children to the fullest extent. Please join me in continual prayer for the many souls who have been victimized in this horrific crisis.
