As part of our annual First Communion festivities, Aquinas and More Catholic Goods is holding a contest to find a model for its newest holy card. Blessed Imelda, a young Italian girl who lived in the fourteenth century, wanted to receive her first Communion at the age of five but had to wait until she was twelve. She died right after receiving Holy Communion for the first time. Because of her love of the Eucharist she is considered the patron of First Communicants.
Once the entry period is over Aquinas and More will allow our visitors to vote for their favorite.
The winner will have her likeness used as the model for Blessed Imelda on the latest holy card created by Aquinas and More.
