I don't know Cheryl Caputo personally, and I don't actually even know if she is  Catholic, but when it came time to select this week's "Board of the Week" I was so happy that my friend and fellow pinner Allison Girone pointed me to Cheryl's amazing "My Jesus" board.

Since today is Good Friday, it's seems especially right to select a board which has the following description:

"For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life" (John 3:16)

Cheryl has a variety of lovely images of Jesus Christ for you to ponder and explore today as we journey towards Easter. Some are classics. Many will be new to you. All of them inspire me to pause and give silent thanks today for the Lord who gave his live for our salvation.

One final treat for you — our good friend Allison Girone of the Catholic Pinterest Group Board has kindly agreed to offer a weekly pointer for us on how to use some best practices to enjoy and effectively employ Pinterest. Here’s this week’s tip from Allison:

Commenting. Who doesn't like getting a comment? If you've really appreciated a pin or have a kind question, why not reach out? Like I say on my blog, the mannerly use of commenting is how we begin to build relationships. Commenting can make Pinterest a more conversational place, a community.

If you’re a Catholic using Pinterest, please drop a link in the comments below to share your boards. Also, I’d love to hear about why you love Pinterest and how you think this latest craze might be used to spread the Good News.
