Over the past two years, I've had the opportunity to get to know radio host and blogger Brooke Taylor through our conversations on her Family Friendly Morning Show. Brooke is one of those moms who is beautiful inside and out -- her energy (even very early in the morning) is infectious and her faith shines through every day in her work. I recently enjoyed following Brooke's writing and video blogs as she journeyed through a pregnancy  and adoption all at the same time!

Here's a little taste of her infectious enthusiasm:

Brooke shared with me recently that she has a new project in the works: a blog called The Sacred Sink. It's mission:

The Sacred Sink is about savoring solitary time with the Savior amid the suds and crumbs.  As St. Paul reminds the Ephesians: “With all prayer and supplication, pray at every opportunity in the Spirit.” The mission of this website stems from the belief that holiness is homemade.  For centuries, the home was the earliest gathering place for Christians to celebrate faith, feasts and family.  Although the pace, size, and structure of home life may vary today, it’s just as important to spend time with God in holy moments by sanctifying our days through prayer. The Sacred Sink is not about achieving a perfect home.  It is not about maintaining an unrealistic standard that is displayed in magazines, or living up to the person who is the model of homemaking perfection in our lives.  The Sacred Sink seeks to simply celebrate the day the Lord has made. And the purpose He has in it for you.  Amid the stacks,  and within the piles and under the dust awaits a great adventure with God.  Time spent in conversation;  in prayer pleading and praise…. with the best companion, the truest friend and the wildest lover of our souls- The Lord Jesus Christ.

I hope you'll take a few moments to head over to The Sacred Sink and check out Brooke's wonderful take on life.  Enjoy!
