It’s NFP Awareness Week! What better time to discuss some easy ways we can use our daily technology to share about something we care about?
We are so extremely connected in today’s world that the reach to go from you to just about anybody you can think of is remarkably small. And the number of people you can reach with a simple “share” or “like” is more than you think!
Here are a few of my favorite ways to spread the word about NFP Awareness Week. It runs until Saturday, July 28, 2012, so even if you haven’t participated yet you can still finish strong!
FB, G+, and Twitter love
Last year I posted one article or resource a day on my accounts focusing on different areas of NFP Awareness. Here are just a few sites to share and articles to consider.
Websites And Blogs To Help You Learn More About Natural Family Planning
Published by Together For Life Online, an outreach of Ave Maria Press. This article includes information on:
- The Couple to Couple League
- The Creighton Model / Fertility Care.org
- OneMoreSoul
- NFP Outreach
- USCCB – NFP Section
Hand-Washing and White-Washing
This is one of several insightful posts written by April at My Feminine Mind. I shared a number of her posts last year.
Print Media
Don’t forget about your parish bulletin or monthly newsletter! Most of the above resources could be printed as a bulletin insert or could inspire a short write-up or two.
Find out what sort of NFP learning and support options are available in your area, what online groups are there to fill in the gaps, and how you can connect your parish family to the support they may be looking for!
