The Tuscany Prize The Tuscany Prize

WELLESLEY, MA – June 15, 2012 – A new Catholic fiction award  -- The Tuscany Prize --  has been announced by Tuscany Press LLC. The Tuscany Prize will be awarded for the best unpublished Catholic fiction stories in three categories:  Novel, Novella and Short Stories.

The new literary prize will encourage and reward writers of Catholic fiction, publish their works, and allow readers to discover these great stories.  Nine prizes from $1,000 to $50 in three categories will be awarded, plus publishing contracts.

“Catholics along with all people are looking for books that reflect what the poet Gerard Manley Hopkins wrote ‘The world is charged with the grandeur of God’” according to publisher Peter J. Mongeau. “Stories of beauty, faith, courage, adventure, atonement, conflict and grace are the stories of literary greatness.  We live in a world with the presence of God and we should recognize the stories and writers that reflect God’s grace, beauty and love.” stated Peter Mongeau.

The submission deadline is September 30th.
