We're reflecting on the fourth glorious mystery of the rosary today as part of our celebration of the launch of A Catholic Mother's Companion to Pregnancy.

It's easy to look past this mystery, to see this as one mystery shy of a full decade and zip through it. I'm tempted to do a play on words, to assume it's not as a big a deal now as it was in ancient times, to just get through it.

And yet there is a message of love within this mystery. God has a mom. And he loves her. So much that he took her to heaven, body and soul.

Reflect on that today: God loves his mom. God loves you, too. Our journey with Jesus and Mary through the rosary is really one of love. It's a personal message, tailored for each of us. But will we hear it? Will we listen?

Our host today is Dorian Speed at Scrutinies. You'll find my reflection on the Assumption there, as well as the prayers.

I hope you'll join us today--and each day of the tour--while we pray together for all of our intentions. I have a special set of intentions that I'm carrying with me as I pray this, and I will remember each of yours as well.

Don't forget that you can enter to win a Nook tablet as we pray and help us celebrate the launch of the latest title in the CatholicMom.com book line. You can enter once a day during from now until October 28.
