Daniel Smrokowski has been podcasting since the early days. You'll find him on Special Chronicles and the RUInspired Show. Daniel writes at SQPN.com and he's also probably our youngest male contributor here at CatholicMom.com. (Go ahead and pop over and read his bio. I'll wait right here til you come back...)

Daniel's active on Twitter (@PodManDan) and you've probably heard him leaving voice feedback on any number of SQPN shows. He's also on Facebook with a fan page and his personal profile.

What makes me super-excited to share an interview with him here is that Daniel just celebrated a major life event: he graduated from college early in December!

It's been a joy to watch Daniel grow over the years, and I'm particularly interested in watching him continue his journey as a man of God and, yes, a Catholic Techie of the highest order!

Tell us about yourself in five words or less.

Catholic, Journalist, Speaker, Special Olympian.

[Wow this was a hard question! Can I include a few more words? Techie, Apple Fan Boy, Podman, SQPN groupie, BustedHalo groupie, CatholicMom.com groupie, Young Adult.]

Of your pursuits, what's your favorite?

Hmmm, another difficult question (that's why I like being on your side of the interview). Perhaps Podcasting/radio talking/hosting and writing(blog/journalism reporting).

When you think of the New Evangelization from your approach as a "Catholic Techie," what excites you? What makes you want to continue?

To have the opportunity to share our Catholic to both other Catholics and non-Catholics in a humorous, entertaining, and informative way.  What makes me want to continue is that there are still many more people across our globe who still need to be evangelized about the real Truths of our Catholic faith, and sharing how inspiring and helpful our Catholic faith is and how it can really help you to succeed in your life.

What's the most rewarding aspect of your work?

To hear from listeners, readers, or viewers of how the content I produce/write helps to inspire them.  I cannot do this without the help from God, Jesus, and his Blessed Mother, Mary.  It's because of the gifts that God has given me that I'm able to do this work as a "Catholic Techie."

In your spare time, what are we likely to find you doing? Do you have a gadget in hand or do you go native and screenless?

You'd most likely find me either with my iPod Touch, MacBook, or sometimes reading a book while listening to the audiobook.  For example, the book that I am still currently reading is The Catholics Next Door: Adventures in Imperfect Living, by Greg and Jennifer Willits, and listening to Greg and Jennifer read the book as I read along.
