Catholic Techie Marya Jauregui

My introduction to Marya Jauregui came as a result of the announcement of an app I have come to love and use daily, MyFertilityMD and MyFertilityCycle.com. She has been an enthusiastic and tireless supporter as I've gotten back in the habit of charting, and I wish there wasn't most of the country between us, because I owe her at least five hugs.

Marya is one of those people who makes me ask the question I hate trying to answer: "How do you do it all?!?" I refrained from asking Marya that question in this interview (though barely), and I hope you get the sense of joy and deep faith that lies beneath all the work Marya and her husband do. They are passionate about what they do, and their personal battle with fertility challenges and problems is moving and inspiring.

Love Life, Family, God, Happy, Helpful

Of your pursuits, what's your favorite?

Parenthood is the most exciting and rewarding, and demanding.  The little voices that never cease to acquire your attention.  The little hands that get into mischief, permanent markers, syrup, glitter, beads, and tear off the keys to your laptop.   The little arms that love to snuggle and hug and hold hands...that's the stages that we are at with a 4,6, and 7 year old.  Laptop keys was a couple years ago, but still lives on in my memory !  And the little minds that constantly try to understand their world, their God, and how they can better their position.

When you think of the New Evangelization from your approach as a "Catholic Techie," what excites you? What makes you want to continue?

The ability to reach the masses, and to affect change in a way never before possible.  The ability to help more people more efficiently, more effectively. The ability to impart the truth about better living.

What's the most rewarding aspect of your work?

The fact that we are able to improve the lives of families and the testimonials we receive from husbands and wives whose relationships are enriched through better intimacy and better health through MyFertilityMD.  Knowing that we are making people more FREE through Freedom from the harmful side affects from artificial contraception, and artificial infertility treatments, and opening a New World for couples to be able to plan their families in such a healthy way.

In your spare time, what are we likely to find you doing? Do you have a gadget in hand or do you go native and screenless?

We always have our gadets in hand...and we are spending time walking at the beach, taking kids to the park or a movie.  Documenting our time on Facebook, and cheering on others.
