Meeting people through the work I do here at CatholicMom.com. One such person is a fellow Ohioan who's a techie in a more low-key way than most of the other Catholic Techies I've interviewed here. [![Maggie](https://www.catholicmom.com/hs-fs/hubfs/Imported_Blog_Media/Maggie.jpg?width=215&height=227&name=Maggie.jpg)](https://www.catholicmom.com/hubfs/Imported_Blog_Media/Maggie.jpg) Maggie Brudnicki lives near Dayton, Ohio, and is an email and Microsoft Exchange administrator. She currently is working as a contractor at a large digital company, and there's no doubt her days are filled with technology. She also has taken our Catholic Techie interviews to more of a "techie on the street" approach, which I love. So let's learn more about Catholic Techie Maggie Brudnicki, shall we? ### **Tell us about yourself in five words or less.** > Catholic Mom, Techie, crafter, sewer. ### **Of your pursuits, what's your favorite?** > Choosing material for quilts is my favorite pursuit. ### **When you think of the New Evangelization from your approach as a "Catholic Techie," what excites you? What makes you want to continue?** > I like looking at all of my sources of information and seeing pieces of my Catholic identity. I am a visual person, so the reminders of the life I want to lead keep that goal in focus. ### **What's the most rewarding aspect of your work?** > When I can help people achieve their goals by showing them how to use technology.  I also enjoy the problem-solving and troubleshooting pieces of my job. ### ** In your spare time, what are we likely to find you doing? Do you have a gadget in hand or do you go native and screenless? ** > I am hooked in with a smartphone when I am away from the house. A couple of years ago I switched from using a Blackberry to an Android phone because I was spending a lot of time in the parking lot of my son's high school. Being able to read the news or or a digital book became important. At home I have a laptop next to the chair I sit in and I am usually looking at a site like Pinterest while watching TV. *Copyright 2013 Sarah Reinhard* ### Share this article [![Share on Facebook](https://static.hubspot.com/final/img/common/icons/social/facebook-24x24.png)](http://www.facebook.com/share.php?u=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.catholicmom.com%2Farticles%2F2013%2F03%2F18%2Fcatholic-techie-maggie-brudnicki%3Futm_medium%3Dsocial%26utm_source%3Dfacebook) [![Share on Twitter](https://static.hubspot.com/final/img/common/icons/social/twitter-24x24.png)](https://twitter.com/intent/tweet?original_referer=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.catholicmom.com%2Farticles%2F2013%2F03%2F18%2Fcatholic-techie-maggie-brudnicki%3Futm_medium%3Dsocial%26utm_source%3Dtwitter&url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.catholicmom.com%2Farticles%2F2013%2F03%2F18%2Fcatholic-techie-maggie-brudnicki%3Futm_medium%3Dsocial%26utm_source%3Dtwitter&source=tweetbutton&text=Catholic%20Techie%20Maggie%20Brudnicki) [![Share on Email](https://static.hubspot.com/final/img/common/icons/social/email-24x24.png)](mailto:?subject=Check%20out%20https%3A%2F%2Fwww.catholicmom.com%2Farticles%2F2013%2F03%2F18%2Fcatholic-techie-maggie-brudnicki%3Futm_medium%3Dsocial%26utm_source%3Demail%20&body=Check%20out%20https%3A%2F%2Fwww.catholicmom.com%2Farticles%2F2013%2F03%2F18%2Fcatholic-techie-maggie-brudnicki%3Futm_medium%3Dsocial%26utm_source%3Demail) ** #### About the Author ![Sarah Reinhard](https://www.catholicmom.com/hubfs/_catholicmom/Contriubutors/SARAH%20REINHARD.jpeg) ### [Sarah Reinhard](https://www.catholicmom.com/articles/author/sarah-reinhard) When she’s not chasing kids, chugging coffee, or juggling work, Sarah Reinhard’s usually trying to stay up read just one … more … chapter.
