Iced Coffee Iced Coffee

If I could, I would have an IV hooked up to me with coffee in it. That way I could have coffee 24/7. Sometimes when it is really hot, and in Virginia it is pretty much most of the summer, I can’t drink hot coffee. On those really hot days, I like to make iced coffee.

The problem with traditional iced coffee is when you pour hot coffee over a mug of ice, you end up with watered down bitter cold coffee. The trick is to use cold brewing. It will make the most wonderful coffee you have ever tasted. No need to go to a coffee-house to enjoy this. You can enjoy this right from your own kitchen.

It could save you a lot because it is so much more economical to make this at home than to go to Starbucks or another coffee-house to enjoy it.

I used regular ice cubes in this recipe. I used fat-free evaporated milk and my Homemade Vanilla Sugar If you want even more coffee flavor, make coffee ice cubes. Take your leftover coffee and put it in ice trays. The next time you make this use the coffee ice cubes instead of the regular ones. This way your drink will not be diluted.

You will be wired for sound, but you will enjoy this so much!
