# The Catechism of Hockey Blog Tour

*The Catechism of Hockey *is a unique take on teaching the Catholic Faith. Bormes uses the metaphor of hockey and sports devotion to explain the responsibility of Catholic parents to raise their children in the teachings and observances of the Church.

“Life is hockey? Maybe. The path to greatness is the same for both the NHL and your soul and this book will lead you there,” Brian Bonin, 1996 [Hockey Baker Award Winner](http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hobey_Baker_Award).

Each day during *The Catechism of Hockey *blog tour, beginning Dec. 2 and running through Dec. 12, one of nine participating blogs will post unique content relating to the book.

As readers follow along on this virtual book tour, they will have a chance to read honest reviews from Catholic bloggers, participate in a "Hat Trick Challenge," learn more about this unique tool for evangelization in our church, and enter to win a copy of the book!
