Streusel Coffee Cake
Makes 15 servings
Ingredients:
- 1 refrigerated coffee cake dough
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/3 cup firmly packed brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/2 cup margarine or butter
- 1/2 cup chopped nuts
Instructions:
1. Grease 13x9-inch pan. Press dough in greased pan. Cover loosely with plastic wrap and cloth towel. Let rise in warm place (80 to 85°F.) until light and doubled in size, 45 to 60 minutes.
2. In small bowl, combine flour, brown sugar and cinnamon; mix well. With pastry blender or fork, cut in margarine until mixture is crumbly. Stir in nuts.
3. Heat oven to 375°F. Uncover dough. Sprinkle brown sugar mixture over dough. Bake at 375°F. for 20 to 25 minutes or until golden brown. Serve warm.
