Giving into temptation
when trying to grow closer to God.
Praying,
fasting,
and almsgiving
yet walking in darkness.

Am I giving up
to live better?
What is my focus?
Living to give.
Learning to let go.
Longing to love completely.

So many things
distracting me.
The world
is my enemy.

Blaming myself
for little things.
Changing to enemy
to me.
