O Projeto de Deus para Minha Vida (God´s Project for My Life)

Toda pessoa, em alguma etapa de sua existência, acaba se fazendo algumas perguntas: para que eu existo? O que devo fazer de minha vida? Para onde devo seguir?

Na sociedade atual pode-se verificar que existe um grande vazio existencial, as pessoas não conseguem dar sentido à suas vidas e isso é causa de muitos problemas como a fuga para o alcoolismo, para as drogas e até mesmo o suicídio.

A resposta a estas questões é fundamental para a vida e para a felicidade de qualquer pessoa. Todos precisam ter a consciência de que foram criados por Deus para cumprir uma missão enquanto permanecem nesta vida terrena, para então retornarem à casa do Pai.

Caso o indivíduo não cumpra a sua missão, todo o plano de amor que Deus previu para toda a humanidade ficará incompleto, pois cada ser humano é importantíssimo e ninguém pode cumprir a missão do outro, cada um é insubstituível.

As pessoas só serão realmente felizes na medida em que procurarem realizar este plano de amor que o Pai previu para a vida de cada um.

A primeira verdade que é necessária ter consciência é que cada um é uma ideia original de Deus, desde toda a eternidade, um ser único e irrepetível, com suas capacidades e limitações, com seu temperamento e anseios.

Todas as circunstâncias que envolveram a sua concepção e seu nascimento, a educação recebida, o ser masculino ou feminino, as pessoas que influenciaram quem se é hoje foram previstas por Deus para auxiliá-lo a cumprir a sua missão, para realizar esta ideia que Ele teve ao criá-lo.

Nem sempre estes acontecimentos foram bons, nem sempre também ocorreram da maneira originalmente pensada por Deus, posto que muitos dependem da livre colaboração humana, do livre arbítrio, mas, como diz São Paulo: “Tudo concorre para o bem daqueles que amam a Deus!”[1]

Cada um possui a liberdade para decidir se deseja ou não realizar este plano, se tornará o que Deus pensou dele ou se negará o seu projeto. Este foi o maior presente recebido de Deus depois da vida em si: a liberdade para escolher que caminho seguir.

Trilhar este caminho escolhido por Deus, para se tornar a pessoa que devemos e podemos ser, consiste num processo de amadurecimento e crescimento e como tal, pode ser um pouco doloroso. Mas ao chegar ao final, quando se descobre este plano de amor, a vida passa a ter novo sabor, passa-se a enxergar tudo o que a rodeia e tudo o que acontece um pouco mais sob a ótica de Deus, entendendo melhor os acontecimentos e podendo tomar as decisões do dia-a-dia com maior precisão.

A Sagrada Escritura confirma que todos são chamados para cumprir o ideal para o qual Deus os criou, conforme nos ensina São Paulo:

“Bendito seja o Deus e Pai de nosso Senhor Jesus Cristo: Ele nos abençoou com toda bênção espiritual, no céu, em Cristo. Ele nos escolheu em Cristo antes de criar o mundo para que sejamos santos e sem defeito diante dele, no amor. Ele nos predestinou para sermos seus filhos adotivos por meio de Jesus Cristo, conforme a benevolência de sua vontade.”[2]

Mas no que consiste a santidade? Esta palavra muitas vezes assusta, parece coisa só para padres ou religiosas, porém esta vocação, este chamado de Deus para a santidade é para todos.

A santidade nada mais é do que seguir este caminho escolhido por Deus, para poder retornar a Ele, ou seja, o que Deus quer é que se cumpra sua vontade enquanto se está aqui na Terra, para que um dia, possa desfrutar de sua divina presença no Céu.

Para descobrir este projeto original e único de Deus para vida de cada um, é preciso analisar todos os aspectos da sua existência, seu temperamento, seus anseios, sua história de vida, os símbolos que acha importante, aquilo que o motiva, sua estrutura psicológica. Em tudo isso Deus colocou “pistas” para enxergar sua vontade.

Importante ressaltar que este processo exige trabalho, paciência e confiança, pois esta não é uma tarefa que se consegue de um dia para o outro. Também não é uma “missão impossível”, mas é preciso dedicar-lhe um pouco de tempo, reflexão e suplicar incansavelmente a ajuda de Deus, as luzes do Espírito Santo para iluminar essa busca.

A verdadeira grandeza da pessoa humana consiste na realização da tarefa de vida que Deus lhe confiou. Ninguém deve morrer sem ter realizado aqui na terra o máximo possível.

 God´s Project for My Life

Everybody, at some point of his existence, ends up asking some questions: for what do I exist? What should I do with my life? Where should I go?

In our society there is a big existential void, the people can't make a sense of their lives and this causes many problems, such as the escape to alcoholism, to drugs and even suicide.

The answer to those questions is fundamental to the life and happiness of any person. Everyone should have the conscience that they were created by God to accomplish a mission while they are in this earthly life, so then return to Father´s home.

If a person doesn't fulfill his mission, all the love plan that God predicted to all mankind will be incomplete, because every human being is very important and no one can fulfill the mission of the other person, everyone is irreplaceable.

We'll only be happy when we look to accomplish this love plan that God our Father predicted to the lives of each one of us.

The first true we need to be aware of is that each one of is an original idea of God, since all eternity, an unique and unrepeatable being, with capacities and limitations, with your temperament and wishes.

All circumstances that were involved in your conception and your birth, the education you've got, your being male or female, the people who influenced who you are today were predicted by Go to help you fulfill your mission, to accomplish this idea that He had when He created you.

Not always those events were good, not always they happened in the way originally thought by God, because many of them depend on our free cooperation, our free will, but as Saint Paul says: "And we are conscious that all things are working together for the good of those who has love for God!"[3]

We have the freedom to decide if we wish to accomplish or not that plan, if we will become what God thought about us or if we will deny his project. This is the biggest gift we received from God after life itself: the freedom to choose wich way to follow.

To walk this way chose by God, to become the person we should and can be, is a process of maturation and growing and as that, can be a little painful. But when we reach the end, when we  discover this love plan, life has a new taste, we see everything that surround us and everything that happens a little bit more like God sees, better understanding the events and being able to make more precise daily decisions.

Holy Scripture confirms that we all are called to accomplish the ideal for wich God has created us, as Saint Paul teaches:

^"Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in the heavenly realms with every spiritual blessing in Christ. For he chose us in him before the creation of the world to be holy and blameless in his sight. In love he predestined us for adoption to sonship through Jesus Christ, in accordance with his pleasure and will"[4]

But what does it mean to be holy? Those words many times scare us, they seem to be things only for priests or nuns, but this vocation, this call from God to be holy is for everyone.

Holiness is nothing more than follow this path chose by God to be able to return to Him, in other words, what God wants is that his will is fulfilled when we are here on Earth, so one day we will be able to enjoy his divine presence in Heaven.

To discover this original and unique project that God has to our lives we have to analyze all the aspects of our existence, our temper, our wishes, our life story, the symbols we think are important, what motivates us, our psychological structure. In all that God put "clues" so we can see his will.

It's important to say that this process demands work, patience and trust, because this is not a task that we can do from one day to another. It's not a "mission impossible," but we need to dedicate time, reflection and plead tirelessly the help of God, the lights of the Holy Spirit to illuminate this search.

The true greatness of the human person is to fulfill the task of life that God entrusted him. Nobody should die before carrying this out, here on Earth, in the best possible way.
