The faithful were still reeling from the shocking revelations regarding Archbishop Theodore McCarrick when just weeks later they were dealt another massive blow through the release of a lengthy and horrific Grand Jury report dealing with decades of abuse cases in several Pennsylvania dioceses. In this upcoming webcast, Teresa Tomeo will provide an update on this developing story including an examination of the recent Grand Jury report. In interviews with Church experts and those close to the investigations, Teresa will also focus on the importance of lay involvement including:
  • Guidelines for writing local and national Church leaders.
  • Suggestions for ways to raise awareness at the parish and diocesan level.
  • Examples of particular saints who dealt directly with abuse and corruption at the highest levels of the Church.
  • A look at why the role of the laity must be a top priority in promoting permanent change.
  • And much more.
