The famed Pauline “media nuns” bring their gift of evangelization through music coast to coast for the “Glorious Night” Christmas concert tour attracting people of all ages and walks of life wanting to catch the Christmas spirit. The lively and much anticipated concert performance, they call the “real Sister Act” will visit multiple cities from November to December this Christmas season and is not to be missed!
“Our mission is to bring Jesus to everyone we meet – the annual Christmas concerts that we produce truly bring Christ into the world in a way that inspires, uplifts and brings uncontainable joy,” said Sr. Nancy Usselmann, a choir member and the Director of the Pauline Center for Media Studies in Los Angeles. “Anyone who needs a dose of love, an injection of that child-like wonder of the Lord or a need to reconnect with the things of heaven that uplift, should come and join us for this Glorious Night event,” she said.

The Glorious Night Christmas concert has been an annual sell-out event for over 20 years and it has recently expanded to new cities and venues. The 2018 concert tour schedule includes concert extravaganzas in New York, Boston, Saint Louis, Cleveland, New Orleans, Lafayette, and Los Angeles. With familiar Christmas standards and some new songs, the Daughters of Saint Paul Choir spent several weeks in rehearsal at the Boston motherhouse where they also have a recording studio and publishing house. “We are media nuns so the use of all forms of media is truly central to our ministry. We are not just on Twitter, Facebook, covering red carpet events, or publishing books, but in this concert tour we connect face to face with our audience using the powerful art of music to touch souls and transform them,” said Sr. Tracey Dugas.

“Our concerts are not like any other Christmas concert you will ever attend. We are Sisters in habit and we sing and dance to our own choreography as well as share testimonials from our own journey of faith around the musical selections,” said Sr. Margaret Timothy Sato, choir director. “We have lighting, props, and surprises! Concertgoers are uplifted and transformed and they come to a renewal of God’s personal love for them which is so important. Christmas is the season of God coming into our lives and we want to share that with everyone.”
