All rights reserved.[/caption] In a few short days, women from all over California will travel to the Sacred Heart Retreat House in Alhambra, CA seeking quiet solitude in the midst of the beautiful San Gabriel Valley in the heart of the Archdiocese of Los Angeles. This Saturday, October 26, 2019, will be the third annual retreat that Endow and the Carmelite Sisters have planned and offered to women of all ages. It is a gift to gather as women, learning about our unique feminine gifts! Endow is a unique organization in the sea of Catholic women’s ministries. It gathers women who are driven by intellectual pursuit of the Catholic tradition and the beauty of intentional community and study. Many of the Carmelite Sisters will be present during this retreat to meet and get to know the retreat participants too! A day of rest before the holidays is bringing women together from near and far! This year, we will be diving into the topic of Discovering Your Inheritance: looking at all the ways that God provides for us from the rich intellectual tradition and wisdom of the Church to the witnesses of the saints and ultimately, God Himself. As the Psalmist says, “You are our inheritance, O Lord.” We have three guest speakers joining us for the day: Christine Rich, from Archetype Group, Simone Rizkallah from Endow and Sr. Mary Clare from the Carmelites. There will be breakfast and lunch served, time for Mass, Adoration and Confession and time for discussion groups led by Endow hosts. Women of all ages are invited!
