Over the next seven days, we'll reflect, as in previous weeks, on quotes from St. Louis de Montfort, Venerable Patrick Peyton, Our Blessed Mother, Thomas à Kempis (*The Imitation of Christ*), and St. John Paul II. As you reflect each day, use your time in prayer to entrust yourself to the Blessed Virgin Mother, opening your heart to be guided ever closer to her Jesus.    ![Marian Consecration quote from St. Louis de Montfort](https://www.catholicmom.com/hs-fs/hubfs/20220501%20AGingras%20CM%20Marian%20Devotion%20Day%2027.png?width=1080&name=20220501%20AGingras%20CM%20Marian%20Devotion%20Day%2027.png)   Why come to know Jesus through Mary? Why contemplate the mysteries of the Rosary as a means of catechesis? Quite simply, no one knows Jesus better than Mary. Aware of this powerful truth and her great desire to lead us to her Son, de Montfort referred to Mary as "the safest, easiest, shortest and most perfect way of approaching Jesus." Conclude each day with an Our Father, Hail Mary, and Glory Be.  We hope you have used this simple daily format as a way to share moments of faith with your family, perhaps using your time in the car, during meals, or at bedtime to discuss the quote, ideas on how we can draw closer to Jesus, and recite the prayers together. We'd love to hear about your experiences; please share any insights or thoughts in the comments below. > [Click to tweet: > Use your time in prayer to entrust yourself to the Blessed Virgin, opening your heart to be guided ever closer to her Jesus.  #catholicmom](https://ctt.ac/7rG5J)   Please visit Catholic Mom Community on [Instagram](https://www.instagram.com/catholicmomcommunity/), [Facebook](https://www.facebook.com/CatholicMomCommunity), or [Twitter](https://twitter.com/CatholicMomCom), each day to find the quotes for daily reflection. If you are not on social media, ask the Holy Spirit to guide your heart to the words—from the Scriptures, saints, or prayers (such as the Litany of the Holy Ghost, Ave Maris Stella, and Litany of the Blessed Virgin Mary)—that would guide you closer to Christ.   ![Catholic Mom Marian Consecration](https://www.catholicmom.com/hs-fs/hubfs/Catholic%20Mom%20Marian%20Consecration%20(1080%20%C3%97%201080%20px).png?width=1080&name=Catholic%20Mom%20Marian%20Consecration%20(1080%20%C3%97%201080%20px).png) --- Copyright 2022 Allison Gingras Images: copyright 2022 Allison Gingras, all rights reserved. ### Share this article [![Share on Facebook](https://static.hubspot.com/final/img/common/icons/social/facebook-24x24.png)](http://www.facebook.com/share.php?u=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.catholicmom.com%2Farticles%2Fa-catholic-mom-marian-devotion-knowledge-of-jesus-days-27-33%3Futm_medium%3Dsocial%26utm_source%3Dfacebook) [![Share on Twitter](https://static.hubspot.com/final/img/common/icons/social/twitter-24x24.png)](https://twitter.com/intent/tweet?original_referer=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.catholicmom.com%2Farticles%2Fa-catholic-mom-marian-devotion-knowledge-of-jesus-days-27-33%3Futm_medium%3Dsocial%26utm_source%3Dtwitter&url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.catholicmom.com%2Farticles%2Fa-catholic-mom-marian-devotion-knowledge-of-jesus-days-27-33%3Futm_medium%3Dsocial%26utm_source%3Dtwitter&source=tweetbutton&text=A%20Catholic%20Mom%20Marian%20Devotion%3A%20Knowledge%20of%20Jesus%20%28Days%2027-33%29) [![Share on Email](https://static.hubspot.com/final/img/common/icons/social/email-24x24.png)](mailto:?subject=Check%20out%20https%3A%2F%2Fwww.catholicmom.com%2Farticles%2Fa-catholic-mom-marian-devotion-knowledge-of-jesus-days-27-33%3Futm_medium%3Dsocial%26utm_source%3Demail%20&body=Check%20out%20https%3A%2F%2Fwww.catholicmom.com%2Farticles%2Fa-catholic-mom-marian-devotion-knowledge-of-jesus-days-27-33%3Futm_medium%3Dsocial%26utm_source%3Demail) ** #### About the Author ![Allison Gingras](https://www.catholicmom.com/hubfs/Allison%20Square%20Bio.png) ### [Allison Gingras](https://www.catholicmom.com/articles/author/allison-gingras) Allison Gingras [ReconciledToYou.com](https://reconciledtoyou.com) shares an everyday Catholic faith with humor and honesty.
