Living Easter: 50 Ways to Practice Resurrection by Laura Kelly Fanucci (Ave Maria Press)
In a Church that proclaims, with St. John Paul II, that “We are an Easter people, and Alleluia is our song,” a new book invites Catholics to take that vision seriously— not just on Easter Sunday, but for all fifty days of the Easter season. Living Easter by Laura Kelly Fanucci offers a joyful, practical, and deeply prayerful guide to celebrating the most significant season of the Church year. With warmth, wisdom, and accessibility, Fanucci—celebrated author and creator of The Holy Labor newsletter and the Mothering Spirit platform—helps readers embrace Easter not as a single feast day, but as a way of life.
Beautifully designed and easy to use, Living Easter serves as a daily companion throughout the Easter season. No advance preparation is required—readers simply open to the day’s entry and are guided through scripture, reflection, prayer, and action. Designed as a book to be returned to year after year, Living Easter offers generous space for notes, questions, and insights. Its heirloom-quality design makes it a meaningful resource for personal prayer, group study, and intergenerational sharing. Whether used individually or in community, the book forms readers’ minds and hearts in the abundance of the One whose love broke open the grave.
