You're invited to pray an online Rosary with the Catholic Mom community in celebration of Venerable Patrick Peyton's anniversary of birth.

Join us as we celebrate the anniversary of the birth of Father Peyton on January 9th! Our Mary Mother of the Church online chapter of the Father Peyton Prayer Guild will gather to pray the Luminous Mysteries of the Rosary at 1:00 PM Eastern. Join us and invite your friends & family as we kick off a Novena in honor of Venerable Patrick Peyton and his cause to be declared a Saint for Family Prayer.

Many of us are familiar with Father Peyton’s success as the "Rosary Priest"! On this day, we remember him as a baby, born into a two-room thatched cottage on the West Coast of Ireland as the sixth of nine children in 1909. Patrick Peyton often shared with great fondness his family’s daily ritual of praying the Rosary after supper, regardless of the circumstances on any given day. Having grown up on a farm that did not always yield enough produce or revenue to feed or support the Peyton family, Patrick preached on how his family's faith in the Blessed Mother provided all that they needed. This faith, he shared during his Rosary Crusades, was indeed the greatest and most important gift his parents could give him.

Father Peyton's “go-to” whenever he encountered an obstacle, worry, or concern in his life was to pray the Rosary, sometimes all the Mysteries of the Rosary in one sitting!

We can learn so much from his example of perseverance and trust in our Lady and her beautiful love for each of us. Join us on January 9th at 1:00 PM Eastern as we pray for his cause. The world needs a Saint for Family Prayer!

What is The Father Peyton Prayer Guild?

The Father Peyton Prayer Guild is one worldwide community of prayer. The Guild is comprised of chapters (five or more individuals), families, and individuals that commit to pray for:

1. The canonization of Father Patrick Peyton, C.S.C.

2. The continuation of his mission through Holy Cross Family Ministries who still promote Father Peyton’s famous message, “The family that prays together stays together.”

3. Their own family and all families around the world. Guild members are asked to convene at least three times a year to pray the Rosary for these intentions.

Our CatholicMom.com online chapter, Mary, Mother of our Church, will convene regularly to pray the Rosary together using the Catholic Mom Facebook Live platform or members can simply commit to praying a Rosary that day for the intentions of our chapter as well as their own!

As a member, you will receive regular updates on the progress of Father Peyton’s Cause for Sainthood, our chapter’s special intentions will be remembered at a special monthly Mass at the Father Peyton Center, and you will be invited to Holy Cross Family Ministries events throughout the country, particularly in your local area.

To become a member of our virtual chapter, please complete the signup form below. The only commitment is your time and your prayer. There is no membership fee! If you choose to provide your address, Holy Cross Family Ministries will send you a Guild member welcome kit which will includes some prayer resources!
