The First Week of the Grace of Yes
Our book club began by delving into Lisa Hendey's reflections on "The Grace of Belief" and "The Grace of Generativity." Lisa shares many words of wisdom and encouragement in living our faith amidst the busyness of life. Here are two that were particularly profound
"As I have aged, fruitful morning prayer sets a rhythm for my days that ha ecome increasingly important for tmy spiritual health."
---
"I want my loved ones to loo at my life and to desire the secret ingredient that fuels me. I don't say this out of vanity, because in so mnay ways, I am flawed. But when folks ask me, "How do you do it all?" I'd like to respond with utter conviction that it's my belief in God that strengthens me for the challenges I face each day."

In Chapter Two, Lisa asks readers to consider what early life events shape their concept of generous love. Who in your life has been an example of selfless love that you may want to adopt in your life? What relationships, besides your family, have shaped the person you are, or want to be?
We can't wait for this Wednesday's Live Zoom discussion on "The Grace of Creativity" and "The Grace of Integrity."
