Just Rest Book Club: Week 1

For our Lent 2023 Catholic Mom Book Club, Sonja Corbitt, the Bible Study Evangelista, brings to life the desert wanderings of the Chosen People and the spiritual lessons and encouragement they offer to us today.

This week in our Book Club, Sonja discusses how the Holy Spirit calls us to listen to the voice of God without hardening our hearts like the Hebrews did during the Exodus. Perhaps we don't think of ourselves as rebellious or going astray in our hearts—but we can forfeit rest, and that rest is the final Promised Land, which is Heaven.

This Book Club is hosted simultaneously on Catholic Mom's Facebook and YouTube channels, on Wednesdays from March 15 through March 29 at 10 AM Eastern. In case you can't attend the live sessions, we share the videos on Catholic Mom on Saturday morning and email our Book Club subscribers with a link to view that week's video.
