Sometimes simple is best! Jena Muhr shares a meatless dinner idea that's three-ingredient simple. Download our printable recipe card.
The perfect meatless Friday dinner. Whether you’re cooking for yourself or the whole family. I give you Single Lady Pasta!
This dish has been lovingly named by my sister who perfected the art of butter noodles and added some extra pizazz to make the whole plate extra tasty.
Single Lady Pasta
Directions:
- Cook a box of your favorite pasta to perfect al dente (this is very important)
- Drain and pile on your plate however much you desire (return what’s left to the pot and save for others or yourself)
- Top with a decent glug of olive oil and don’t be shy with the Parmesan cheese. If serving to my children or me when I need the ultimate comfort food this is where you stop. If you’re looking for the full Single Lady Pasta experience, continue to step 4.
- Top with additional seasoning: Italian seasoning, oregano, basil, salt, or red pepper flakes. Add a bit more Parmesan cheese and enjoy. If you’re looking for Single Man Pasta, continue to step 5.
- Pan-grill some shrimp and add to pasta (possibly with a squeeze of lemon). No extra cheese required at this point.
Best consumed watching your favorite chick flick on the couch. Enjoy!
