Elizabeth Estrada shares how the opening of a new nearby Adoration chapel has allowed her to make frequent visits to adore the Lord in the Eucharist.

In the last eight years or so I have tried to go to Adoration weekly. It has really been a game changer in my spiritual life and in my relationship with Jesus. One of the challenges of going was that I didn’t have an Adoration chapel close to me and if I wanted to sit with Jesus in the tabernacle, the churches were usually closed—especially during COVID.

Then in late 2020 or so they began adding an Adoration chapel in a church about 10 minutes away. I sometimes attend mass there, as my son attended the school there three years ago. I was very happy to see that but knew I had to wait.

Well, the wait is over! In the late summer the chapel was finally completed. It is beautiful and not to far to go weekly or more often. Adoration is Monday through Friday for about ten hours which is wonderful.

Now, I don’t have to deal with where and where I can go as He’s close. Since my visits there, it is wonderful to see two or more people adoring the Lord and sometimes even up to 10 people at a time. I am so glad that this chapel has brought more people to the Lord, and many of the visitors are men and people of a variety of ethnicities.

Perhaps more will come to be with Jesus in the Adoration chapel. He is always waiting for us! #catholicmom

The timing couldn’t be better, as we have begun the Eucharistic Revival and evangelizing about how this sacrament is the center of our faith. My hope is to continue to share with others about the new Adoration chapel, and perhaps more will come to be with Him. He is always waiting for us!
