Dooley Feb 26, 2024 11:30:00 AM  |  by [Lisa M. Hendey](https://www.catholicmom.com/articles/author/lisa-m-hendey) ![featured image](https://www.catholicmom.com/hubfs/20240226%20LHendey%201.png) *Lisa M. Hendey introduces the* Confessions of a Catholic Single *podcast, a comedy show that offers a chance to grow in faith.* --- Today, I continue my [ongoing series of conversations with awesome storytellers](https://lisahendey.com/category/3-minutes-with/) creating fantastic projects as I’m joined by screenwriter, producer and director Erin R. Dooley. As someone who loves discovering Catholic audio content, I was delighted to hear that one of my favorite podcasts is returning for a second season just in time for Lent. [Confessions of a Catholic Single](https://dash-entertainment.weebly.com/confessions-of-a-catholic-single.html) is Erin’s brainchild and a completely creative concept.   ![null](https://www.catholicmom.com/hs-fs/hubfs/20240226%20LHendey%202.png?width=1080&height=1080&name=20240226%20LHendey%202.png)   While Erin herself is a Catholic single, don’t let the title of this podcast fool you. The show is truly for anyone looking for quality entertainment and a chance to grow in faith. When I first discovered Erin’s podcast, it reminded me of a Catholic *Friends* in all the best possible ways. Season Two of the series, which launched on Ash Wednesday, will focus on the Corporal Works of Mercy. The episodes are brief, but they do a terrific job of uniting a faith concept with character development and a plot that will keep you tuning in for more. Find “Confessions of a Catholic Single” on your favorite podcast platform.      #### About Erin Dooley: Erin R. Dooley is a screenwriter, producer and director.
