Lisa M. Hendey introduces the Confessions of a Catholic Single podcast, a comedy show that offers a chance to grow in faith.

Today, I continue my ongoing series of conversations with awesome storytellers creating fantastic projects as I’m joined by screenwriter, producer and director Erin R. Dooley. As someone who loves discovering Catholic audio content, I was delighted to hear that one of my favorite podcasts is returning for a second season just in time for Lent. Confessions of a Catholic Single is Erin’s brainchild and a completely creative concept.

While Erin herself is a Catholic single, don’t let the title of this podcast fool you. The show is truly for anyone looking for quality entertainment and a chance to grow in faith. When I first discovered Erin’s podcast, it reminded me of a Catholic Friends in all the best possible ways. Season Two of the series, which launched on Ash Wednesday, will focus on the Corporal Works of Mercy. The episodes are brief, but they do a terrific job of uniting a faith concept with character development and a plot that will keep you tuning in for more.
