This week, I am thrilled to announce a new contest sponsored by Jeffrey Larson of The Catholic Artist. Jeffrey is a Catholic convert and artist and has been creating portrait art for more than 20 years. He has recently devoted his talents to creating artwork primarily of Catholic saints and holy people. His work is created in black and white using graphite and sometimes pen and ink. Use of a pencil or pen allows him to capture stunning detail and realism in his artwork while the black and white medium is fitting for the simplicity and holiness of his subjects. Mother Teresa, Pope John Paul II & St. Padre Pio are a few of the prints and note cards available, with many more drawings and prints coming soon. Most of his prints are in a limited edition and are signed and numbered by the artist. Jeffrey is a husband and father of six and resides in Omaha, Nebraska.

Two lucky winners at CatholicMom.com will each receive one of the following prizes:

  • Pope John Paul II Art Print
  • Blessed Mother Teresa of Calcutta Art Print
