# Shopping Inspiration from Bloom

Aug 18, 2011 1:00:06 PM  |  by [Lisa M. Hendey](https://www.catholicmom.com/articles/author/lisa-m-hendey)

These days, time seems to be at a premium! I've been doing so much traveling and speaking lately that even shopping feels like another item on my "to do" list. So when my good friend Hallie Lord (aka [Betty Beguiles](http://www.bettybeguiles.com/)) offered to help me by sharing her [Bloom personal shopping services](http://www.bettybeguiles.com/p/personal-shopping.html), I jumped at the opportunity. I've been watching Hallie's work with other online friends and know she has a true sense of style and a real knack for helping fashion-impaired people like me!

Working together over the course of a few days, Hallie and I completed a survey process to give her a sense of my "style" (or lack thereof!) and my desired outfit choice. I asked her for something I could where to my many speaking engagements this Fall. I'll tell you that she made the process extremely fun and simple -- and I'm thrilled with the results, which yielded an outfit I could definitely wear and enjoy!

I'm happy to share the "Inspiration Board" Hallie designed for me - she offers a variety of services at very affordable rates to help with everything from a simple consultation to a full wardrobe makeover. If you're in need of some sage shopping wisdom, [contact Hallie Lord through the Bloom page on her website](http://www.bettybeguiles.com/p/personal-shopping.html). Thanks Hallie!
