Because there's something just fundamentally weird about Friday the 13th and because it makes me smile every time I look at it, I'm calling Jeanine Kunkel's "Childhood Memories" my Board of the Week. Jeanine is a Catholic Mom of twelve who must hail from the same era as me -- she has so many of my favorites listed! The only thing she's missing is that scary picture of the guardian angel shepherding two children across a bridge while a very horrifying looking devil hides beneath it. If anyone knows the painting I'm talking about and had it in your room as a child, pin it and tag me! Not something to put in a little girl's room...

But back to Jeanine Kunkel. You'll find she has several very inspirational boards including Pro-Life, Vocations, and Catholic Saints. Follow all of her boards here.

One final treat for you — our good friend Allison Girone of the Catholic Pinterest Group Board has kindly agreed to offer a weekly pointer for us on how to use some best practices to enjoy and effectively employ Pinterest. Here’s this week’s tip from Allison:

Don't like a pin? Move on. With 10 million users (and growing) on Pinterest there's much to see. Find something you do like. No need to start a war...their pin, their board. (That said, there is "report pin" option which I would use for something illegal or pornographic.)

If you’re a Catholic using Pinterest, please drop a link in the comments below to share your boards. Also, I’d love to hear about why you love Pinterest and how you think this latest craze might be used to spread the Good News.
