In my neck of the woods, school is getting ready to start very soon. Since discovering Pinterest last year, I turn to it so frequently for inspiration that it now feels natural to go looking for great Pins and Boards when I need ideas. That's why I was so happy to find the great Music Education board by Kate Daneluk of Making Music Praying Twice. Kate, a CatholicMom.com contributor and an amazing mom and educator, has created a board that is full of resources, coloring pages and inspiration for anyone looking to share a love of music with their children or students. With school back in session soon, be sure to check out Music Education and let me know in the comments below about any other school-related boards you're following and loving.

And here’s this week’s tip of the week from Allison Girone of the Catholic Pinterest Group Board who has kindly agreed to offer a weekly pointer for us on how to use some best practices to enjoy and effectively employ Pinterest:

Calendar boards - Consider a calendar board for each month. Pins might reflect someone's birthday and gift ideas...the saints of that month...the holidays that fall in that month and pins with ideas for how you'll celebrate it...even recipes. This may be a month with a vacation and travel ideas to pin? May there's something you do with your family, as a tradition that month? It could also serve to remind you of household chores that need to be done and tips for doing them...a visual, personalized, reminder calendar.

If you’re a Catholic using Pinterest, please drop a link in the comments below to share your boards. Also, I’d love to hear about why you love Pinterest and how you think this latest craze might be used to spread the Good News.
