This week and this month have marked "Back to School" for many of us - and it's likely that the rest of you who are vacationing will be back to the classroom soon. It's a time for sharpening number two pencils, re-negotiating bedtimes, and planning the multitude of activities that will soon fill our calendars. That's why I was so happy to spot "Ideas for School", a fabulous pinboard by Catholic school counselor and educator Lisa Landy. Truthfully, I had a difficult time determining which of Lisa's many awesome boards to select for "Board of the Week" - she has everything from classroom organization and craft ideas to tips for parents and behavioral information. I invite you to set aside some time this week to check out Lisa's boards, and maybe start a "back to school" motivational board of your own!

And here’s this week’s tip of the week from Allison Girone of the Catholic Pinterest Group Board who has kindly agreed to offer a weekly pointer for us on how to use some best practices to enjoy and effectively employ Pinterest:

Saint board - We have saints that share our birthdays, share our name and saint's whose name we take for Confirmation.  There are saints we feel called to ask for intercessory prayer, due to their patronage and our changing needs. Call out to these "Cloud of Witnesses," identify and catalog them by pinning them to a Saint prayer board. The Church Triumphant.

If you’re a Catholic using Pinterest, please drop a link in the comments below to share your boards. Also, I’d love to hear about why you love Pinterest and how you think this latest craze might be used to spread the Good News.
