As we head back to school, Pinterest is brimming over with great lesson planning and homework help ideas. This week, in my browsing, I ran across the wonderful boards of Grace Hincapie, a Catholic homeschooled teen who blogs at Our Catholic Life. While I've run into lots of homeschooling boards on Pinterest, I've never seen one run by a teen! And Grace has tons of wonderful pins - definitely follow all of her boards. But my pick for this week's Board of the Week is Grace's wonderful Pro-Life Unit Study board. It contains images, videos and ideas for helping share Pro-Life themes with your family. I'd like to encourage Grace to keep on pinning -- we're learning along with you!

And here’s this week’s tip of the week from Allison Girone of the Catholic Pinterest Group Board who has kindly agreed to offer a weekly pointer for us on how to use some best practices to enjoy and effectively employ Pinterest:

Pinterest can be a place to build relationships, too. Like Facebook, you can comment on pins and like pins. Ask a question in your pin. Comment on someone's pin. Or not. The beauty of Pinterest is that the image can do all of the talking and yet, if you want to do more than bookmarking, you can engage others on Pinterest, as well. Best of both worlds.

If you’re a Catholic using Pinterest, please drop a link in the comments below to share your boards. Also, I’d love to hear about why you love Pinterest and how you think this latest craze might be used to spread the Good News.
