The Anchoress and the Annunciation

We're reflecting on the first mystery of the rosary today as part of our celebration of the launch of A Catholic Mother's Companion to Pregnancy.

As I struggle in my own prayer life, and especially with the rosary, I find myself drawn closer, again and again, to it. I know, it's paradoxical: the more I walk with Mary through the mysteries, the more I stumble and fumble and bumble my way through it, the closer I bring myself to both her and her son.

Our host today is none other than the Anchoress, Elizabeth Scalia. You'll find my reflection on the Annunciation there, as well as the prayers.
