Jul 18, 2014 4:30:29 PM  |  by [Monica McConkey](https://www.catholicmom.com/articles/author/monica-mcconkey) [![Feast Day Fun for Equipping Catholic Families](https://www.catholicmom.com/hs-fs/hubfs/Imported_Blog_Media/Feast-Day-Fun-for-Equipping-Catholic-Families-402x400.jpg?width=402&height=400&name=Feast-Day-Fun-for-Equipping-Catholic-Families-402x400.jpg)](https://www.catholicmom.com/hubfs/Imported_Blog_Media/Feast-Day-Fun-for-Equipping-Catholic-Families.jpg) We've launched a new series over at **Equipping Catholic Families**! It's called **Feast Day Fun**! It includes excerpts from our book  **[A Treasure Chest of Traditions for Catholic Families](http://www.equippingcatholicfamilies.com/2011/06/description-of-a-treasure-chest-of-traditions-for-catholic-families.html)**, archive crafts from [**Equipping Catholic Families** ](http://www.equippingcatholicfamilies.com/) and our **Kelly Saint illustrations** from our  [**Saint Scripts Craft Kits (Series ONE and TWO)**](http://www.equippingcatholicfamilies.com/2013/11/new-saints-scripts-cathletics-craft-kit-series.html). As I research activities and family traditions online...I like to include the gems that I find on other Catholic Blogs, especially when I'm graciously granted permission to post their photos! [![St Thomas](https://www.catholicmom.com/hs-fs/hubfs/Imported_Blog_Media/St-Thomas-550x390.jpg?width=550&height=390&name=St-Thomas-550x390.jpg)](https://www.catholicmom.com/hubfs/Imported_Blog_Media/St-Thomas.jpg) For the [**Feast Day of St Thomas on July 3**](http://www.equippingcatholicfamilies.com/2014/07/feast-day-fun-st-thomas-apostle.html), we honored the patron of architects by offering crafts to build a **City of God**. There are lots of ways to make cute houses out of milk cartons and recycled boxes...and we like to fill them with our [**Wooden Painted Saints**](http://www.equippingcatholicfamilies.com/2013/07/wooden-painted-saint-proper-tutorial.html)! [![St Maria](https://www.catholicmom.com/hs-fs/hubfs/Imported_Blog_Media/St-Maria-550x396.jpg?width=550&height=396&name=St-Maria-550x396.jpg)](https://www.catholicmom.com/hubfs/Imported_Blog_Media/St-Maria.jpg) For the [**Feast Day of St Maria Goretti**](http://www.equippingcatholicfamilies.com/2014/07/feast-day-fun-st-maria-goretti-july-6.html), we made our own **Handprint Paper Lilies** and marvelled at the **Flames of Forgiveness Cupcakes**, both created by **Jessica** at [**Shower of Roses**](http://showerofroses.blogspot.ca/2011/07/saintly-summer-fun-st-maria-goretti.html)! [![St Benedict](https://www.catholicmom.com/hs-fs/hubfs/Imported_Blog_Media/St-Benedict-550x396.jpg?width=550&height=396&name=St-Benedict-550x396.jpg)](https://www.catholicmom.com/hubfs/Imported_Blog_Media/St-Benedict.jpg) For the [**Feast Day of St Benedict on July 11**](http://www.equippingcatholicfamilies.com/2014/07/feast-day-fun-st-benedict.html), we revisited our [**Giant Foil St Benedict Medal**](http://www.equippingcatholicfamilies.com/2012/07/st-benedict-holy-medal-with-free-printable.html) and made a plan to memorize important verses in the Psalms with this really neat Scripture-memorizing system!
