WorkWork, work, work...we all have some type of work to do in life that makes us go "blahhhh!" For some people it is cleaning house, for others it's changing dirty diapers. For some it's taking out the garbage, for others it’s going to their "workplace" and doing their job, and for still others it’s doing homework but for every one there is work to be done. It's just a fact of life.

Yesterday, I went in to work to for a few meetings for the upcoming school year at Holy Cross. I am so blessed to say that my work at Holy Cross as a teacher is anything but "blahhhh".

I was able to collaborate with a colleague and create a retreat for our Cougars for Christ. Then I met with the principal and discussed ideas for the upcoming year about how to set our students on fire with our faith. I am inspired by my principal's passion for social justice and openness to creativity and experiences for our students to see Jesus Christ in the faces of everyone. I am unbelievably blessed to be a part of such an engaging, faith-based educational school.

I have work in my life that is just "blahhh" that I have to do like shopping, cleaning, cooking, and paying bills etc... But I have work in my life that God has called me to like teaching, parenting, writing, and witnessing God in my everyday life that I am so thankful for!

What is the “blahhh” work of your life? What is the work that you do that makes you smile and inspires you to work for God and others?
