Matthew Kelly’s Dynamic Catholic Inks Deal for Novel on Preteen Jesus,
‘Three Days: The Search for the Boy Messiah’

Front_Cover.4321665Dearborn, Michigan (October 15, 2014) – Author and EMMY-Award-winning writer, producer-director, Chris Stepien, has reached a publishing agreement with Dynamic Catholic for his biblically-based novel about 12-year-old Jesus. “Three Days: The Search for the Boy Messiah” will be part of Dynamic Catholic’s pioneering book program, which has sold more than five million spiritual books and CDs to over four thousand Catholic parish communities since 2007.

Best-selling author and acclaimed speaker, Matthew Kelly, is the founder of Dynamic Catholic. The successful book program allows churches to make large, bulk purchases of media very affordably, in order for them to give free copies to all who attend services on Christian holy days, such as Christmas, Ash Wednesday and Easter.

Dynamic Catholic is currently planning a release date for “Three Days.”

“As a husband and father of two sons, this Bible story has always challenged me,” said Stepien. “I wrote this book for the child in all of us,” he added. “Teens feel this Jesus could be a best friend. Parents relate to him as an extraordinary son or grandson. College students and other adults see the preteen Messiah as disarmingly inspirational.”

“‘Three Days’ is our first novel and it connects with an important Dynamic Catholic initiative,” said Kelly. “We recently launched ‘Decision Point,’ 72 videos to prepare young people for the sacrament of Confirmation. With ‘Three Days,’ Confirmation candidates can explore their relationship with Jesus,” he added. “At 12-years-old, the boy Messiah has a lot in common with them. This story shows us God’s love is very real and always relevant.”
