singingRejoice in the Lord always again I say rejoice….Rejoice…Rejoice..Again I say rejoice…Rejoice…Rejoice..Again I say Rejoice…Rejoice in the Lord always…again…I …say..rejoice!

I was thinking about what God would like for me to share with you this week and He had these words, prayer, power and praise. These seem to repeat themselves often for me. And I know, at least for me, my praise is joyous, thankful and full of prayer, and somehow powerful.

…speaking to one another with psalms, hymns, and songs from the Spirit. Sing and make music from your heart to the Lord, always giving thanks to God the Father for everything, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. Ephesians 5:19-20 (NLT)

If I could I would greet you with song in person, a smile on my face and worship for Him who loves us so much. So since that isn’t always possible, I sing out loud all day and this week I will sing with you in mind.

“Let the message of Christ dwell among you richly as you teach and admonish one another with all wisdom through psalms, hymns, and songs from the Spirit, singing to God with gratitude in your hearts. And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God.” Colossians 3:16-17 (NLT)

I love to sing, hum, whistle, tap you name it and always with thanks and worship and reverence for Him who loves us so much. The thing is to sing and praise and pray always no matter what and this I do know, in the quiet moments and in full throttle of operatic glory, I can hear Him singing over me too.

The LORD your God is with you, the Mighty Warrior who saves. He will take great delight in you; in his love he will no longer rebuke you, but will rejoice over you with singing.” Zephaniah 3:17 (NLT)

Now that is powerful. The Lord, Himself, singing over you and me!

Come, let’s sing!

….rejoice in the Lord always again I say rejoice….Rejoice…Rejoice..Again I say rejoice…Rejoice…Rejoice..Again I say Rejoice…Rejoice in the Lord always…again…I …say..rejoice!
