We need YOU for 2016!

One of our most popular features here at CatholicMom.com is our Daily Gospel Reflection series. Every day, thousands of us around the world wake up, read the daily gospel together, and reflect upon God's message as we begin our morning. For the past two years, a team of thirty writers has freely shared their gifts to create these treasures. This past year, we even worked together to collect them into a lovely e-book: As Morning Breaks.

Because I know what a blessing this project has been for our team of writers and I believe in dreaming BIG, I've decided to "cast wide the nets" for 2016 and vastly expand our team of Daily Gospel Reflection writers. Our goal for next year is to offer reflections by 366 different voices. To participate, you do not need to be an experienced writer or a mom. We are seeking varied voices: students, singles and married folks, priests and religious, parents, grandparents, youth and the young at heart... in short, we are seeking YOU!

So what's involved? Each volunteer is asked to write one 300 word reflection on an assigned gospel passage. You do not need to have formal writing experience, simply a desire to reflect upon and prayerfully share the Gospel.

In early September, you will be provided with an assigned date and gospel passage as well as a few trusted resources to help you prepare to write your reflection. All reflections will be due by Monday, October 5th. As we receive volunteers, you will be assigned a date and gospel reflection passage and will be directed to a form to submit your reflection.
