I'll admit that I'm a failure at scripture memorization, but the first three words of that verse from 1 Peter stick in my heart.
"Always be ready" sounds simple until the moment you're confronted with a real world chance to actually share what makes you tick, what gives you hope, what fires up your life. I've worked over the years to be more effective at evangelization not for the purpose of looking like I have my act completely together, but more so for recognizing and making the most of those tiny moments when actually stepping up boldly and with love can truly change someone's life.
