Download and print our free 2020 Advent calendar and bonus Advent activities list for families with kids of all ages (and empty nesters too).
Because 2020 is bringing us an Advent like no other, the CatholicMom team decided to bring you a new kind of Advent calendar! We have more than 150 contributing writers, ranging from newlyweds and new parents to empty nesters and grandparents -- and we realized that no one calendar would be perfect for every type of family.
So this year we asked our writers to share their favorite family Advent activities. We got plenty of ideas, both faith-filled and fun-filled -- many more ideas than we could use on a single Advent calendar. That's when we decided to make this year's printable Advent calendar a customizable one.
We'll get you started with a December calendar that has all the feast days listed, along with a special idea for each of those days. Along with that, we're including an activity list, sorted by age group, so that you and your family can check out the list and fill in the blank boxes on the calendar with the ideas that appeal most to you.
Don't miss our other excellent resources on our Sunday Gospel Activities page. There you'll find printable Mass worksheets, coloring pages, and puzzles for each Sunday, plus a Sunday mealtime prayer and information on living the liturgical year. Like our Advent calendar (and everything else at CatholicMom.com), it's all free for you to use and share.
