Lectio Divina Out Loud: Erika Dix searches Scripture to answer questions that are in our hearts.
Thoughts to ponder:
When am I enough?
He said to me, "My grace is sufficient for you, for power is made perfect in weakness." I will rather boast most gladly of my weaknesses, in order that the power of Christ may dwell with me. Therefore, I am content with weaknesses, insults, hardships, persecutions, and constraints, for the sake of Christ; for when I am weak, then I am strong. (2 Corinthians 12:9-10)
How does the Holy Spirit talk to me?
“The Advocate, the Holy Spirit that the Father will send in My name—He will teach you everything and remind you of all that I [Jesus] told you.” (John 14:26)
Where do I find God?
Yet when you seek the Lord, your God, from there, you shall indeed find Him if you search after Him with all your heart and soul. In your distress, when all these things shall have come upon you, you shall finally return to the Lord, your God, and listen to His voice. (Deuteronomy 4:29-30)
How does Jesus love me?
“As the Father loves Me, so I also love you. Remain in My love.” (John 15:9)
What does God want from me?
You have been told, O mortal, what is good, and what the Lord requires of you:
Only to do justice and to love goodness, and to walk humbly with your God. (Micah 6:8)
