Daily Gospel Reflection for March 30, 2024: Holy Saturday At the Easter Vigil in the Holy Night of Easter

Join us as we reflect, ponder, and pray together inspired by today's Gospel.

Today's Gospel: Mark 16:1-7

Today’s Gospel is full of joy and wonder. It is also filled with many worries, as the women are on their way to anoint the Lord. Even though they are ready to go forth and fulfill their mission, they still question and wonder “What if?”

However, they are greeted by an angel who gives them such wonderful news.

“Do not be amazed! You seek Jesus of Nazareth, the crucified. He has been raised; he is not here."

At that moment, I imagine that all of their questions, doubts, and fears disappeared. They were overwhelmed with the fact that the Lord had kept His promise and they were to see Him again.

This is a wonderful reminder for us that no matter our fears, doubts, worries, or what ifs, the Lord will always provide what is best for us. He may also send a friend or Bible verse to remind us that He always keeps His promises.

How will you celebrate the gift of His promises this Easter season?

Lord, please give me the grace to always be thankful for the gift of fulfilling Your promises.
