“St. Josemaria” by EBSolutions, is an amazing app. Available in iOS and Android. At $14.99 it is a tad bit expensive for an app , but it’s worth it.
Really, it’s like having several apps rolled into one. I have separate apps for all of the following : the New Testament, the Holy Rosary, Angelus, Liturgy of the Hours (morning prayer and evening prayer) , Daily Mass Reading, and examination of conscience.
All of these and more are contained in this one convenient app, specifically designed to help the faithful follow a “plan of life” , those daily practices you commit to making in an effort to stay on the right spiritual path.
Daily Norms options include:
- Morning Offering
- Morning and afternoon prayer
- Before and after prayers for Mass
- Visit to the Blessed Sacrament
- Gospel Reading
- Spiritual reading
- Angelus & Regina Caeli
- Holy Rosary
- Salve Regina (on Saturdays)
- Psalm 2 (on Tuesdays)
- Adoro te devote (on Thursdays)
- Creed (on 3rd Sunday of the month)
- Memorare
- Examination of Conscience with password protection and recovery service; and create, edit, and delete your own examinations
Included Books by St. Josemaria:
- The Way
- Furrow
- The Forge
- Friends of God
- Christ is Passing By
- Holy Rosary Book
Other features included in this app:
- Prayers to saints, blessed and people in the process of canonization with their biographies
- Novenas
- Some prayers in Latin
- New Testament with chapter and verse search
- Add your own reading material in “text” or “pdf” formats
- Bookmarks your current reading place
- Way of the Cross
Like I said - pretty awesome! This app could easily have been named the “every spiritual tool you could ever imagine needing app “
