Join us as we reflect, ponder, and pray together inspired by today's Gospel.

Today's Gospel: Matthew 10:7-15

How can we, as busy women, proclaim that the kingdom of God is at hand? It may be more do-able than we imagine — simply by being women of hope, we proclaim through our everyday actions that God’s kingdom of love is everyone’s true home and destiny.

In Christ we have the power to proclaim His Kingdom. We can cure the sick-at-heart with a word of encouragement, a reminder that bad times don’t last. We can raise the dead to life by walking with someone who has left the Church because of sin or scandal, listening to their stories may open their heart to hear Jesus calling them back. We cleanse lepers when we treat an outcast with dignity, introducing ourselves, looking into their eyes, and asking them to pray for us. And we drive out demons by praying the Rosary for those who have shut themselves off from the Kingdom by a habit of sin. What we cannot accomplish, Our Lady can!

Jesus has created us in His image to bring hope to the world by proclaiming His Kingdom in small ways with tenderness and perseverance, not counting the cost, just as He did.

Ponder:

What new habit can I begin today to bring hope to those God puts in my path?

Pray:

Lord, help me be Your hands, feet, and voice that call others to the beauty of Your eternal Kingdom.
